Environmental Assessment Process
This Project will follow the approved environmental planning process for Group ‘C’ projects under the MTO Class Environmental Assessment for Provincial Transportation Facilities (amended 2000). This Project will be delivered through a series of construction contracts in the coming years.
Group ‘C’ projects are considered approved, subject to compliance with the Class EA and the application of mitigation measures where necessary. Upon completion of the study, an Environmental Screening Document (ESD) will be prepared to document the project, its potential impacts and proposed mitigation measures.
